Madashu Mahila Care Foundation

We set up Madashu Mahila Care Foundation in Varanasi. The office is at SA 22/168-E-58, over in Pulkohana, Puranapul. Sarnath is nearby. It is a busy part of Ashapur. We mostly focus on things for women here because that’s what we saw was needed. People know where to find us in the 221007 area. It isn't a big fancy place. Just a regular room where we handle our daily work. Some days are quiet, others get a bit hectic with people coming in and out. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Most of us live close by so we walk or take a rickshaw. The streets in Puranapul can be narrow. You have to look for the E-58 mark to find the door. We aren't doing anything flashy. Just trying to keep the foundation running properly from our spot in Sarnath. If you walk past the main road in Ashapur, you’ll eventually get to where we are. We keep things simple here. No big desks or fancy signs. Just us doing the work that needs doing every day. It feels good to be part of the local neighborhood. Varanasi is a big city but our little corner feels like home. We started this because we wanted to help out local women. It is practical work. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep going, day by day, handling the small things that come our way.
