We are a food product business based out of Nayachak, specifically near the Ramdhanipur police station and Manoharpur Kachhuara post office. The business is run under the name of Usha Devi. We specialize in making traditional snacks and food items that people in this part of Uttar Pradesh grew up eating. It is definitely not a factory with huge machines and conveyor belts. Instead, it’s a lot of people sitting together, preparing the dough, and frying things in large pots. The smell of oil and spices is always in the air here. We started doing this just for the local market, but over time we decided to make it official as a private limited company. Still, the way we cook hasn't changed much. We source all our ingredients like flour and spices from the local markets nearby. During the holiday seasons, things get very frantic because everyone wants their sweets and savories at the same time. We often stay up late into the night just to finish the orders. We don't have any fancy packaging or a big brand image. We just put our food in simple bags and send it out to the shops. It’s hard work and your hands get tired from the repetitive tasks, but we take pride in what we make. It’s just honest, local food made by people who live right here in the village area.
