Maa Asha Tara Foundation

Our place is located in Ramnagar Kodopur, specifically at Banshi Dhar Ojha’s spot. Maa Asha Tara Foundation has been running out of here for a while. It’s a very local setup in Varanasi. We don’t have a big office building or a bunch of staff in suits. It’s just a couple of rooms where we sit and figure things out. The area is pretty traditional, and we like it that way. Most of our day is spent talking to people from the neighborhood. We don’t really have a polished pitch or a fancy mission statement. We just saw a need and decided to do something about it. Sometimes the office is a bit of a mess with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but for the people here, it’s right where it needs to be. We handle the foundation work as best as we can. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We’re just a small group of people in Uttar Pradesh trying to be useful. It’s simple, it’s a bit slow sometimes, but we’re here every day. We keep the lights on and the door open for whoever needs to talk. It's a small life but we find it meaningful. We don't need much more than that to keep going with the daily chores.
