R K Industries Handloom Machine

If you go down toward the Lotha Area near the Cantt Station, you will find our workshop. R K Industries Handloom Machine has been in this spot for a good while. It's a busy part of town, especially with the trains coming in and out all day, so there is always noise in the background. We spend our days working on handloom parts and making sure the machines are put together right. It is old-fashioned work in a lot of ways. A lot of people don't use these manual machines as much anymore, but there are still plenty of folks who need them for their weaving. My brother and I run the place mostly. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy assembly. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, and it gets really hot in the summer months because the roof is just tin. We don't have a receptionist, so if you call and nobody picks up, we are probably just out back handling a shipment or fixing a lathe. It is a simple life, just making things that people can use to make a living for themselves. Sometimes we run out of specific bolts and have to wait a week for the truck to come from the city. It frustrates the customers, but that is just how it is out here near the station. We do not have a website or anything like that, just the shop and our tools.
