Kriti Beauty Parlour

Kriti Beauty Parlour is situated at Trimuhani Chauraha in the Varanasi Cantt area. We are right on Trimuhani Road, which is a place that never really stays quiet because of all the people moving through Varanasi. It is a simple parlour for the local ladies who live in this part of town. We have a few chairs and some mirrors with lights around them, though a couple of the bulbs usually need replacing. We keep our various creams, threads, and waxes on some plastic shelves near the workstations. The curtains are a bit old and they have a floral pattern that has faded from the sun coming in the front window. It is not a very large space, so it can get a bit loud when everyone is talking at once. We don't have any fancy music playing, just the sounds from the street and the humming of the dryer. We do things like threading and basic hair work. Most of our regulars are neighbors who have been coming to us for years and they know we just do things in a simple, straightforward way. We open up after the morning chores are done and we stay until the evening rush at the chauraha starts to thin out. It is just a small local business run by people who live right here in the community.
