Krishna Hospital

If you walk down Pandey Pur, you’ll see Krishna Hospital sitting not too far from the Kali Mandir. The temple is the main thing people look for when they’re trying to find us. You can usually hear the bells ringing in the mornings and evenings, which is a nice sound to have in the background. The streets here are narrow and get crowded fast, especially during festival times. Our hospital is just a plain building tucked into the mix of houses and small shops. We have a small sign out front that's seen better days. Inside, the rooms are basic. We use metal cabinets for all our files and the chairs in the lobby are mismatched. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, not some cold, shiny office. Most of the folks who work here have been around for years, so they know the families in Pandey Pur pretty well. We spend a lot of time just talking to people and figuring out what they need. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we have a few big fans going all the time. Sometimes the water cooler leaks a little on the floor, so we put a rag there. It’s just a normal place where we try to stay on top of things. We don't have any big corporate rules, just the usual way of doing things that works for us and the people who live nearby.
