Kashi Archan Foundation

We are located at D-13/20 in Bhandari Gali. If you’ve ever walked through the narrow lanes of Kashi, you know how easy it is to get turned around. But we have been in this spot for a long time. Kashi Archan Foundation is just a small group of us working out of this building. Bhandari Gali is one of those old streets where you can feel the history in the walls. It is a bit tight and crowded, but that is the charm of it. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby. It is just a regular door in the alleyway. We started this because we wanted to do something for the area. Kashi is a place where people come for all sorts of reasons, and we just wanted to be a part of the local fabric. Our office is just a few rooms with some old furniture and a lot of papers. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We prefer talking to people face to face. The noise from the street filtered through the windows is just our background music. It can be a bit chaotic outside with the pilgrims and the local shops, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do our part right here in the Gali. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours and we are proud to be in this part of town.
