Our place is up in Flat number 1102 at the Ambrosia Apartment in Lanka. It is a bit different being in a high-rise building instead of a shop on the ground floor. You have to take the elevator up which can be a bit slow during the busy times of the day. Once you get to the eleventh floor it is actually quite quiet and you can see a good bit of the surrounding area from the windows. We use one of the main rooms as our work area. It’s not very big but it fits our desks and the few things we need to keep organized. Being in an apartment means we have to be a bit careful about making too much noise because of the neighbors living right next door. Lanka is a busy part of the city so it’s nice to have a spot that feels a bit removed from the traffic down below. We don't have a reception area or anything like that. It’s just a home that we have turned into a workspace. Sometimes the delivery guys get confused about which block we are in but they eventually find their way. The light in the flat is pretty good in the afternoons which helps when we are reading through papers. We’ve been here for a bit now and it feels like a steady place to get our foundation work done without any fuss or extra noise.
