Jaiswal Brothers has been here in Jaitpura for quite a while now. We are right near the Jaitpura Thana in Varanasi, so most people around here know exactly where to find us. It’s just a regular shop where we keep the things people need daily. My brother and I run the place together. Usually, one of us is always here from morning until we close up at night. Varanasi is a busy city, but our corner in Jaitpura stays pretty steady with the same faces coming in. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s mostly just shelves filled with stuff we’ve stocked over the years. Some days it gets crowded when people are coming home from work, and other times it's quiet enough to sit and have a cup of tea. We try to keep things organized but sometimes boxes pile up when a new delivery comes in. That's just how it goes when you’re managing a small space. We know most of the families living nearby by name. If someone is looking for something specific, we usually know where it is tucked away. It’s not a big corporate operation, just us doing our thing every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our shop stays mostly the same. If you’re walking past the Thana, you’ll see us there. It’s a simple life running a business in Varanasi. We just keep the doors open and see who stops by.
