Jai Singh Hospital is located in Saraymandraj, Bhawarnath. If you ask anyone around here, they can usually point you toward Bajrang Singh’s place because that’s where we are. It’s a local hospital through and through. We don't have those shiny floors you see in big city hospitals, but we do our job. The area of Bhawarnath is always active, and we are right in the middle of it. We started out small and have just kept going. The staff is mostly local folks from the surrounding villages. I spend my mornings checking the supplies and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever comes in. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or family members. It’s a bit crowded on market days because the roads get narrow with all the carts and bikes. We have a small area for people to sit while they wait to be seen. It isn't much, but it works. We’ve had the same front door for as long as I can remember. The doctors are usually here until late at night if there are patients waiting. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the records as organized as possible. It’s a plain, honest place to work. We are just part of the local scenery in Saraymandraj. It’s been home for us for a long time and we don't expect that to change.
