Our Varanasi office for Jai Prakash Associates Ltd is at C-42 in the VDA Colony. It’s located in the Chandmari Badalalpur area. Varanasi is a city with a lot of history, and even in the newer colonies like this one, you can feel that pace of life. The office is a straightforward place. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for the daily flow of work. It’s usually pretty quiet in the colony, which is a nice break from the main parts of the city. We spend our days handling the local side of the company’s business. There are a few of us here, and we’ve all been working together for a while. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging up; we just know what needs to be done. The building is a standard construction for this area. We have enough space for our files and a small area where we can have tea. The walk to the main road isn't too long, so it’s easy to get around when we need to. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or use the backup, but that is common here. It’s an honest, no-nonsense workplace. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized. If you’re in the Badalalpur area, you’ll probably find the VDA Colony easily enough, as it is a well-known spot for locals and workers like us.
