Ishika Hair Dressing Saloon

Our shop is right in the A.B.C. Tower over in Shastri Nagar. It is on the Sigra Road, which is a very busy part of Varanasi. If you are coming from the Varanasi Cantt side, you will find us easily enough in the Sigra area. The traffic outside is always moving and there is a lot of noise from the horns and the people walking by. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We have several stations set up for hair cutting and grooming. The mirrors are large and we have some old pictures on the walls. We have been here for years, so the floor shows a bit of wear and tear, but it is kept clean. We get a mix of students from the nearby areas and people working in the offices around the tower. Some mornings are slow, giving us time to drink tea and talk, but by the evening, the chairs are usually full. We don't use any high-end equipment, just the standard stuff that works well for us. The lights are bright so we can see what we are doing. It is a practical place. We don't have a lot of frills. People come in, get their hair done, and go back to their day. It’s just how things have always been at our spot in the tower on Sigra Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
