Coina Plast

Our place is at No. 248 in the Maheshpur Chandpur Industrial Estate. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the air. Inside Coina Plast, we deal with plastic molding and manufacturing. It gets pretty warm in here because of the machines, especially during the summer months. We have several units running most of the time. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. You’ll find us in work clothes, probably checking on a batch of parts or moving crates around. The industrial estate is a practical place for a business like ours. We have everything we need nearby. There’s a lot of repetition in what we do, but you have to keep a close eye on the quality or things go wrong quickly. We spend our days watching the cycles and making sure the raw material is feeding in correctly. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. Some of the guys have been on the floor here for a long time. We know the machines inside out. At the end of the shift, we shut things down, lock up No. 248, and head home to get some rest before doing it all again tomorrow. It’s a steady life in Maheshpur.
