Imran Textiles

Our business is at J 17/83-C1, near Bakriya Kund in the Badi Bazar area. It’s very close to the City Railway Station, so it’s always crowded and noisy around here. You have to navigate through narrow lanes and lots of people to get to us. We’ve been in the textile trade for years. This part of the city is where all the action is for fabric. Our shop is packed with rolls of cloth from the floor to the ceiling. It can get a bit cramped when a few customers are inside at once. We don't have air conditioning or fancy displays. It's just us, some wooden counters, and a lot of fabric. We deal with all sorts of materials. Some days we are busy cutting lengths of cloth for local tailors, other days we are just moving stock around to make room for new arrivals. Being so close to the railway station means there is always something happening. We get people coming from out of town who stop by because they heard we have what they need. We don't use a lot of technology here. We keep our notes in paper diaries and use a calculator for the totals. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We know our fabrics and we know the market. If you need something specific, we probably have it buried in a pile somewhere. It's dusty but we're used to it.
