Ikon Broadband (P) Ltd.

Our office is tucked away in shop number 8 at Kashiraj Apartment. It’s in the Kamachha area, which gets pretty lively during the day with all the traffic. Ikon Broadband (P) Ltd. has been operating from this little spot for some time now. We handle a lot of the local internet setups for houses and small offices around here. The space is a bit cramped because we have to keep a lot of routers and big rolls of cable in the back room. When people have issues with their wifi, they often just walk into the shop instead of calling us. We don't mind that at all. It's often better to talk face to face about these things. The apartment building itself is easy to find, but our shop door is around the side, so you have to look for the number 8. We spend a lot of time on ladders outside or crimping wires at the desk. It’s messy work sometimes. We try to keep things organized, but when several people come in at once with connection problems, the paperwork starts to pile up on the small table we have. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a few of us making sure the signal stays strong for the neighborhood. Sometimes the heavy rain messes with the lines and we have to go out and fix it. That’s just part of the job. We stay open so people can pay bills or ask questions.
