Highway Hospital

We are over at C 209 in the Kamdhenu Apartment in Lanka. It’s a bit unusual for a hospital to be inside an apartment complex, but it works for us and the people who live around here. It makes the place feel a bit more like a home and less like a cold institution. We occupy a good chunk of the space and have our rooms set up for different medical needs. Lanka is always buzzing with people, especially since the university isn’t far away. We get a lot of walk-ins, people who just live nearby and need a quick check-up or some help with a fever. The hallways can get a bit crowded when families come to visit, but we just navigate around each other. We don't have a big fancy lobby with marble floors; it’s just a regular building with people doing their best. Our nurses and doctors are usually busy, but they’ll stop to have a quick word if you need something. We've had some of the same equipment for a long time because it still works perfectly fine. It’s a very local feel here. You might see us getting lunch from the stalls outside or just standing by the entrance for a bit of fresh air. We are part of the community in Lanka, and we’re just here to provide medical help without making a big deal out of it. It is just life here.
