Har Prasad Gupt Incubation Foundation

You’ll find the Har Prasad Gupt Incubation Foundation over at Kashi Vidhyapeeth University. We are based in the V.C. Admin House in Varanasi. Being on a university campus means we are surrounded by students and teachers all day. It’s a very different vibe than a typical business park. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have high ceilings and heavy wooden desks. It’s not a "startup hub" with flashy colors or modern furniture. We focus on incubation, which basically means we help people grow their new ideas. It’s a slow and steady process. We aren't looking for the next big thing to sell. We just want to help people in Varanasi figure out how to get their projects off the ground. Since we are inside the university, we don't do much marketing. We just talk to the folks who walk by or come in with a question. The admin house is a busy place, but our corner stays relatively quiet. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen a lot of people come and go. We don't have a big corporate board. It’s just a few of us who understand how things work locally. We like the history of the place. It keeps us grounded. We aren't trying to change the world in a day. We’re just providing a quiet space for ideas to grow right here in Kashi.
