Hajra Hospital

Hajra Hospital is located near Hanuman Phatak in Varanasi. Being in such an old and historic city like Varanasi means there is always something going on just outside our doors. The area around Hanuman Phatak is usually crowded with people and traffic, so once you step inside the hospital, it feels a bit different. It is a functional building, designed to handle the daily flow of patients coming in from all parts of the city. We have several floors, and the stairs are always getting a workout from people moving between departments. The atmosphere is generally quite serious, as you would expect in a medical facility. We have a team of doctors and nurses who have been around for years. The waiting rooms have simple plastic chairs and a few fans that keep the air moving on hot days. It is not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We focus on the daily tasks of checking patients and managing the wards. Sometimes the power goes out and the generator kicks in with a loud growl, which is just part of life here. We see families coming in together, often looking a bit worried, and we do what we can to get them through the process. It is a basic, hardworking hospital that has become part of the local landscape. We just keep our heads down and get the work done every day, making sure the clinic stays open for those who need it.
