Goras Ice Cream Industry is located at Plot No-K 44/35 in the Bisheshwarganj area. We are not too far from the Kal Bhairav Temple. It’s a very old part of the city and the streets are quite narrow and winding. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time now. Even though "Industry" is in our name, we are just a local operation doing our best with the space we have. The building is tucked away, so you have to look for it. We make our ice cream using methods that have worked for us for years. It’s a lot of manual work, stirring the vats and checking the temperatures. The area around the temple is always full of energy and people. We get a mix of locals and visitors who are just passing through Bisheshwarganj. Our shop isn't shiny or modern. It’s a bit weathered, but the equipment inside is what matters. We focus on getting the flavors right for the people who come in. My cousins and I run the place. We don't have a big corporate office. Our office is just a desk in the corner of the production room. We deal with the suppliers directly and handle the sales ourselves. It’s a busy life, especially during festival seasons when the temple area gets packed. We just keep our heads down and keep the ice cream coming. Sometimes the machines break down, but we fix them and keep going every day.
