GC Architects

GC Architects is on the first floor of Shiva Complex, right there at Rathyatra Crossing in Varanasi. It’s actually opposite Kuber Complex, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside our windows. We’ve been in this office for quite a while now. It isn't a huge place, just a couple of rooms where we keep all our drawing boards and computers. Most days we are just buried in blueprints or talking to contractors on the phone. It gets pretty busy, especially when we have to go out and check on sites in the heat. We aren't some big corporate company with fancy suits. We’re just local people who know how to put a building together on paper. Sometimes the office is a bit of a mess with old plans and half-empty tea cups, but we know where everything is. People around Rathyatra usually know us by now. We don't really bother with big ads or anything like that. We just focus on the work we have and try to do it right. If you come by, it’s mostly just us working away. It’s a practical sort of life and we like being in the middle of the city where everything is happening. Anyway, that’s who we are. Just a small team doing our thing in a crowded part of Varanasi. We don’t make big claims, we just keep our heads down and draw.
