Ehsaas Clinic

So, we are over at Ehsaas Clinic. You can find us in the Lohta area of Varanasi. We are situated right near the police station, which is actually a pretty good landmark for giving people directions. If you find the station, you are basically there. Varanasi is a busy place, as everyone knows, and Lohta has its own kind of energy. The clinic is a modest place. We don’t have those big glass walls or shiny floors you see in the city hospitals. It’s more of a local spot where people from the neighborhood come when they aren't feeling well. We spend most of our time sitting at the desks or checking on patients in the small rooms we have. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans running all day long. Sometimes you can hear the sirens or the noise from the police station next door, but usually, it’s just the sound of the local traffic. We’ve been part of this community for a bit, and we know many of the shopkeepers on the street. It’s a simple life here. We open up in the morning, see the people who need help, and close up when the sun goes down. There isn't much more to it than that. We just focus on the people who walk in and try to make sure they get what they need. It's just a regular clinic for regular folks in Lohta, near the police station.
