We are located at D 47/75 Maltikunj, right on the Ramapura Luxa Road. It is a very central part of Varanasi, near the Girjaghar. If you have ever been to Godowlia, you know how busy it gets. The bells and the traffic are just part of our daily background noise. We have been in this building for quite a few years now. It is an old place with a bit of soul to it. We do not have a shiny modern office because we prefer the character of this neighborhood. We spend our time drawing and looking at sites across the city. Being an architect here means dealing with very narrow lanes and old structures, which is never simple. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, people find us because someone they know told them where we are. We sit around the table, draw some lines, and try to figure out how to make a building stand up and look decent. It is a lot of back and forth with contractors and clients. Sometimes we get frustrated, sometimes things go smooth. That is the nature of the job. We drink a lot of chai and stay late when we have to. We are not looking to be the biggest firm in town. We just want to do okay work and keep the lights on. If you are near the church, you are basically at our doorstep. It is a walk-up office but the view of the street is worth it.
