Cuts Beauty Saloon

We are right here on Sigra Mahmoorganj Road, not too far from Hotel Padmini. If you know this part of Varanasi, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic and people moving around. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we do hair and stuff. We've been at C-59/79/C-3 for a while now. Most days start with sweeping the front and getting the chairs ready. We have a few mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. Some people come in while they are out shopping in Sigra, and others live just around the corner and have been coming since they were kids. It’s mostly just us working here, making sure the towels are clean and the scissors are sharp. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets blocked, but that’s just how things are in this part of town. We don't have any big signs or anything, just the name on the front. We mostly talk about the local news or what’s happening on the street while we work. It’s a small space, but we keep it tidy. The lights are a bit bright, but it helps us see what we’re doing when someone wants a trim or a wash. We stay open until late evening usually, depending on how many people are waiting on those wooden benches near the door. It’s just a normal neighborhood spot where folks come to get cleaned up.
