We are technically Consulting Engineering Services (India) Ltd., New Delhi, but you’ll find our actual working space in Varanasi. We are set up on the first floor of House No. C 2 in Shanti Vihar Colony. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in. Varanasi is a very old city with a lot of history, but our work is about building for the future. We deal with all sorts of engineering challenges. Some days it’s easy, and some days nothing seems to go right. We just keep at it. The office doesn't have any of those fancy modern features. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of computers and paper. We like it that way because it’s practical. Living and working in Shanti Vihar Colony means we see the same faces every day. It feels like a community. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. We do engineering. That means we plan, we calculate, and we check things over and over again. Sometimes we take a break for tea and talk about things other than work. But usually, we are pretty focused. The address is easy enough for people to find if they need to drop off documents. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and it’s become like a second home to most of us. It’s just where we do our thing every day.
