Dhoot Silk Shop

Dhoot Silk Shop is over in the Birdopur area, at address B- 37/195 A- 1. We have been dealing with silk fabrics for quite some time now. The shop is full of rolls of material in all different colors and patterns. It’s a relatively small space, but we pack a lot of stock into it. When you walk in, the first thing you probably notice is the smell of the fabric and the stacks of boxes everywhere. We aren't a big department store with bright lights. It’s more of a traditional shop where you can actually touch the material and see the quality for yourself before buying. Birdopur is a bit away from the main city chaos, which we prefer for our daily business. My family runs the whole place, and we all take turns sitting behind the counter or helping customers. We don’t do any fancy advertising or social media stuff. People just come here because they know we have a good selection of silk and we've been here a while. We spend our days unfolding and folding fabric for people who stop by. It’s a lot of physical work, keeping the shelves organized so we can find things. Sometimes we have tea with the regulars who come by just to chat about the neighborhood. We try to keep things honest and tell people exactly what they are buying. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, but we have some bright lamps to show the true colors.
