Banaraswala Agro Export House

We run Banaraswala Agro Export House right across from the Taj Hotel. We’re in the Mint House area of Nadesar. It’s a bit of a contrast, having a busy agro export business so close to a fancy hotel, but it works for us. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or dealing with crates of goods coming in from the farms. There is a lot of paperwork involved in exporting, which can be a real drag sometimes. Our office is usually piled high with forms and shipping labels. We aren't the most organized people in the world, but we know where everything is. The traffic in Nadesar can be pretty bad, especially with all the tourists and people going to the hotel, so we have to plan our pickups carefully. We have a handful of people working here who know the export business inside and out. We don’t really have a "style" or a "brand." We’re just a local business trying to get local products out to other places. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go according to plan. A truck gets delayed or a shipment sits at the port longer than it should. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a bit chaotic, but it keeps us on our toes and we’ve been doing it long enough that we don’t panic anymore. We just keep moving.
