Banaras Dog Clinic

If you have a dog in Shivala Nagar, you might have passed by our place at D 10147 near Agarwal Road. It’s a small clinic just for dogs. We don't see cats or birds, just dogs. It can get pretty loud in here when a few of them start barking at once. The floor is easy to wash, which is good because dogs can be messy. We deal with everything from shots to those itchy skin problems that dogs get. My brother helps out sometimes when it gets busy. We aren't a big corporate vet chain. It’s just a local spot on Kabir Road where you can bring your pet without too much fuss. Sometimes we run out of treats, but we try to keep some on hand to keep the dogs happy. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but we are still here in the same spot. It’s not a shiny clinic with a lobby. It’s more of a practical space. People come in, tell us what’s wrong with their dog, and we see what can be done. It’s basic, honest work. We know most of the dogs by name after a while. That’s the nice thing about being in Shivala Nagar. We have some old posters on the wall about dog health. The door sticks a little when it rains, so you have to pull hard. We keep the water bowl filled outside. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the animals. They make the days interesting and keep us on our toes.
