Ayushman Nursing Home

We are located in Kandawa, which is a bit of a quieter part of Varanasi compared to the main ghats. You can find us right at the Chitapur Chauraha. It is a big crossing where four roads meet, so there is always a bit of a crowd and some street vendors selling tea and snacks nearby. The nursing home is a decent-sized building with several rooms for people to stay in. We have a small yard in the front where people sometimes park their bikes or just stand around talking. The routine here is the same every day. The nurses start their rounds early, and the cleaners make sure the hallways are washed down. We just focus on the daily tasks of checking on patients. We don't have any of those expensive paintings on the walls or leather sofas. Just regular hospital beds and sturdy chairs for the families. The area around Chitapur Chauraha has grown a lot lately, so we see more new faces than we used to. But we still get plenty of folks from the surrounding villages who prefer coming to Kandawa rather than going into the very center of the city. At night, the Chauraha gets a little quieter, and the nursing home feels very still. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next day to start all over again.
