Apex Welcare Pvt Ltd. is located over in the D.l.w area. Most people around here know it because of the railway colony and the big workshop nearby. It’s a fairly quiet part of the city compared to the main markets, which we prefer. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular building with a sign on the door. Inside, we handle a lot of the administrative side of healthcare supplies. We have a few rooms filled with filing cabinets and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The staff here is small, mostly locals who walk or bike to work. We spend a lot of time on the phone with clinics and nursing homes. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees nearby get onto the roof and make a lot of noise, which can be distracting during meetings. We usually have a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area, and there is always some talk about the local cricket matches or the weather. We don't use any fancy systems, just some simple spreadsheets and a lot of handwritten notes on sticky pads. It’s a comfortable place to work, and we all know our roles pretty well. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the local doctors get their supplies on time. Usually, we finish up around six and head home to our families. It is a steady life and we are okay with how things run here for now.
