Apex Hospital

Down on Hydle Road near DLW, you’ll find our hospital. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is nice for the patients. We’ve been operating Apex Hospital here for several years. The building is a bit older, so it has some character, and maybe a few squeaky doors. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to tell us how to look professional. We just wear our scrubs and do the jobs we were trained for. The morning shift usually starts with a lot of coffee and checking the charts. We see a lot of people who work over at DLW or live in the nearby quarters. It’s a steady stream of familiar faces. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a little chaotic in the waiting room. That is just the nature of hospital work. We don't make big promises or use fancy language. We just tell people what they need to know and try to help them get back home. The staff stays busy with the cleaning and the patients. We have a small parking area that fills up fast. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit slow, but we keep pushing through. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours, and we take pride in being the ones people call when they are sick.
