Apex Hospital

Working at Apex Hospital in Railwayganj Colony keeps us pretty busy. It's a local place, and we see people from all over the neighborhood. The building is right there in the colony, so it’s easy for folks to walk over if they aren't feeling well. We have a small waiting area that gets crowded during the morning hours. Our staff has been here for years, and we all know each other's names. It's not like those big corporate hospitals you see in the city center. We keep things pretty straightforward. There's a lot of walking up and down the hallways. The lights in the corridor flicker sometimes, but we get the maintenance guy to fix them when he's around. We have a little canteen in the back where the nurses take their breaks. The food there is okay, nothing special, but it's hot. Every morning starts with checking the supplies and making sure the rooms are tidy. It can get a bit loud outside with the colony kids playing, but it feels like home. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. Mostly just some posters and a clock that's usually five minutes fast. People come here because they know us. We see familiar faces every week. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We stay open late and sometimes it’s still busy at midnight when things finally quiet down.
