Annapurna Pcm Foundation

Our place is at Araji 44 Kha in the Gointhaha area of Varanasi. If you know Varanasi, you know it can be a maze of different plots and small roads. Gointhaha is a bit outside the main temple rush which is nice for us. The building sits on a piece of land that gets a lot of sun. We have some simple rooms where we keep all our foundation work going. The 221002 area is growing but it still has that old Varanasi feel to it. Our office has those heavy metal fans that roar a bit when they are on high. We have stacks of registers and papers because we still like to write things down. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees come onto the roof and make a lot of noise. We just ignore them and carry on. The floors are stone and stay cool even when it’s boiling outside. People from the nearby villages often stop by to chat or ask questions. We don't have a fancy lobby or any air conditioning. It is just a regular place where we work hard and drink a lot of tea. The street outside is narrow so we don't get much car traffic, mostly just cycles and the occasional motorbike. It is a simple life here in Gointhaha and we are quite content with how things are set up for our daily routine.
