We are located on Station Road in Jaunpur, right near where the Allahabad Road starts. It’s a busy intersection and there is always something going on outside our doors. Our shop handles various goods, and we have a lot of crates and boxes sitting around at any given time. The building is an older one, so the floors are a bit uneven and the doors creak when you open them. We have a small counter where we handle all the transactions and the paperwork. Most of our day is spent moving stock from the delivery area to the back storage room. It’s a lot of physical work for us. We have a couple of old fans running to deal with the dust and the heat during the summer months. The location is good because everyone passes by on their way to the station. We see a lot of travelers and local workers every single day who stop in for a moment. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or decorations to look at. We just keep the shelves stocked with whatever is in demand at the time. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic on Allahabad Road, which throws off our whole afternoon schedule, but we just wait it out. It is a practical business. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look as long as we have the stock. The tea stall next door is great and we usually head there for a break.
