We are located out in Kandawa, which is a part of Varanasi that feels a bit different from the main temple areas. Our address is right in the heart of the community here. It is a simple place, honestly. We don't have a big front desk or any shiny decorations. It is just a workspace where we handle the daily chores. The post code is 221106, so that helps the mail get to us, though sometimes the postman still has to ask where we are. Varanasi is a crowded place, but out here in Kandawa, we have our own pace. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It makes the work feel more like we are just part of the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on the paperwork, sitting under the fan and trying to keep the dust off the registers. There is always someone coming in to ask about something or other. We don't have a fancy website or a big team. It is just a few of us making sure the records are kept straight. The building is old, like many things in this city, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We like being here because it is close to home for most of us.
