Aakarshika Beauty Care

Aakarshika Beauty Care is located on Rathyatra Road in the Kamachha part of Varanasi. We are right across from the Kashiraj Apartment building, so that is usually how people find us if they are new to the area. Varanasi is a crowded city, and Rathyatra Road is no exception. There is always something going on outside, but once you step into the shop, it is a bit more relaxed. We have been here for some time now. The setup is quite basic, just what you need for beauty care without any extra fuss. I try to keep the place tidy, though with the dust from the road it can be a challenge. We have a few chairs and a partitioned area for privacy. It’s mostly women from the apartments nearby or students who come in. The room is painted a light color to make it feel a bit bigger than it actually is. I handle the appointments and the work, making sure everyone gets what they asked for. We don't use any high-end marketing or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people hear about us. It’s a small business and I like it that way. When the Rathyatra festival happens, the whole street changes, but we stay open as much as we can. It’s a good community here in Kamachha and I’m glad to have my shop right in the middle of it all, serving the local crowd.
