We’re based out of unit 142 in the GIDC 2nd Phase in Vapi. It’s a big industrial zone, and our building is pretty standard for the area. Vrunda Vitthal Polynet Ltd. has been running here for a while now. We handle a lot of netting and plastic materials. The floor is always covered in scraps and offcuts, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the work. We have a few machines that run most of the day, so it stays pretty noisy in there. Vapi gets incredibly hot, so we usually start early in the morning to get the worst of the work done before the afternoon sun hits the roof. Our staff is mostly people from the nearby colonies who have been doing this for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the orders moving and the quality decent enough for our customers. We don't have a big corporate office or a board of directors; it's mostly just the manager and the floor staff figuring things out as we go. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we all have to huddle around to get it back up, which can take a few hours of tinkering. It’s honest, hardworking stuff. You won’t find any fancy brochures here, just rolls of product ready to be shipped out on the next truck that pulls into the yard every single afternoon.
