Jai Research Foundation

Our place is located right by the Daman Ganga Bridge on N. H. No. 8 in Valvada. It’s a bit of a landmark in this part of Gujarat. Jai Research Foundation isn't your typical lab you see in movies. It’s a practical site where we do a lot of testing and observations. The bridge is always busy, and you can see the river from some of the windows. We’ve got a lot of specialized equipment, but the building itself is pretty plain. We spend our days looking at samples and writing down numbers. It can be repetitive, but it's what we do. The humidity from the river sometimes messes with the instruments, so we’re always recalibrating things. We aren't a big corporate entity with a PR team. We’re just a group of people who are good at details. Sometimes we stay late because a test isn't finished. The local tea shop across the road is where we go when we need a break from the lab coats. It's a quiet life for the most part, except for the trucks roaring past on the highway. We don’t make big speeches about science; we just provide the data people ask for. It’s honest work that requires a lot of patience. We’ve been in Valvada long enough to know most of the people nearby. It's just a steady job that we try to do right every single time.
