Vakpati Enterprise

We’ve been here at Shed No. C-1B-13 for a good while now. It’s right across from the Gidc Water Filter Plant, so if you’re looking for us, that’s the big landmark everyone knows. Most days start pretty early. We roll up the shutters and get things moving before the sun gets too hot. It’s an industrial area, so there is always some noise from the neighbors or trucks passing by to the filter plant. Inside our shed, it’s mostly just us working through whatever orders came in. We don't have fancy decorations or a big front office. It's just a workspace with tools and materials scattered where they need to be. Sometimes the dust gets in, but that is part of the job when you work in a place like this. We usually take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the city. There isn't much to say about our history except that we show up and do what needs doing. The space is a bit cramped when a big delivery arrives, but we manage to shift things around. People around here know us by name, which is nice. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the operations running smoothly day after day. It gets loud, it gets messy, but the work is steady. If you stop by, you'll probably see a few of us out front talking to a driver or just grabbing some air between tasks.
