Smart-Tech Instruments & Controls is situated at Plot No. 197-1A in the Phase-2 area of GIDC. We are right across from the Vapi Paper Mill, which is a big landmark around here. If you miss the mill, you probably missed us too. The area is very industrial, so there’s always a lot of dust and trucks moving back and forth on the road. We don't have a showroom with glass windows or anything like that. It’s a working office and a storage spot for the instruments we handle. We mostly deal with control panels and meters that factories use for their machines. Most of our day is spent checking orders or talking to people from the nearby plants who need a replacement part quickly. The phone rings a lot and it’s usually someone asking if we have a specific gauge in stock right now. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, there is always a bit of a mess with packing materials and wooden crates. It’s not a place for browsing. People come here because they know what they need to get their machines running again. We’ve been in Vapi for a while and we’re used to the heat and the constant noise from the neighboring units. It's just a regular business day for us, starting early and staying until the work is finally done.
