Shree Padma Garments

Our place, Shree Padma Garments, is situated over in the GIDC Sarigam area on Road Number 16. It’s right in the engineering zone, so it’s mostly industrial stuff around us, but we’ve been at Plot 1650 for quite some time now. Being near the station helps with getting things moved around. It's a bit of a trek to get out here to Umbergaon, but this is where the work happens. We focus on garments, handling the production and whatever else needs doing during the week. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard unit in a big row of other businesses. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just manage. There’s a lot of noise from the nearby factories, which you get used to after a week or two. We have a small team here. We don't really do much advertising because we're usually busy with the orders on hand. It's a practical setup. We have some chairs in the back for breaks. The tea man comes around twice a day which is the highlight for most of us. If you are looking for us, just head toward the engineering zone and look for the sign near the Bhiled station road. We're just regular people trying to run a decent business.
