Ravi Trading Co

The office is over at A-26 in the City Centre area, right on Silvassa Road in Bhadakmora. It’s a lively part of town where there’s always something moving. We deal with a lot of different goods coming through, so there are usually boxes piled up in the corners. It’s not the biggest space, but we make it work for what we need to do every day. Dealing with traders and suppliers means the phone rings quite a bit. You can hear the traffic from the road outside most of the morning. We’ve got a couple of desks and a computer that’s a bit slow sometimes. It gets pretty humid here, especially during the monsoon months. We usually have the door open to catch a breeze, even if it brings in some noise. Most of our day is spent checking manifests and talking to drivers who are trying to find the building. It’s tucked into the City Centre layout, so sometimes people get a little lost on their first visit. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We are just a local trading outfit keeping track of stock and making sure things get where they are supposed to go. It’s a straightforward life here. We close up when the work is done and head home like everyone else in Bhadakmora. Every day is different depending on what arrives on the trucks.
