You’ll find us on the first floor at Shop Number 110. We are in the C1 building of the Hakimji Super Market right by the Char Rasta. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always something going on outside. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but they don't seem to mind. We deal with hydraulic hoses and fittings mostly. It’s greasy work sometimes. Our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. The shop is filled with the smell of rubber and metal. We have tools scattered around the workbench because we’re usually in the middle of a job. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a workspace. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. The other shop owners around here are like neighbors. We see them every day. Sometimes we share a tea in the afternoon when things quiet down. The GIDC area keeps us pretty busy since there’s always a machine somewhere that needs a part. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People just know we are here at the Char Rasta. We keep the doors open to let some air in, even though it gets dusty from the road. It’s just how we run things. Simple, honest work day in and day out, and we like the routine of it.
