Maha Laxmi Wood Industries

Maha Laxmi Wood Industries is located at Plot No. 376/2 on Silvassa Road. We are part of the G.I.D.C. Estate in Vapi. If you’ve ever been to Vapi, you know it’s a massive industrial hub. Everything around here is about manufacturing and transport. We deal mostly with wood, so the yard is always full of logs and planks. It’s a dusty job, and the sun can be quite brutal on the Silvassa Road side. Our team is small but we’ve worked together for a long time. We don't have an about us page on a fancy website because we're usually too busy with the saws and the loaders. The GIDC estate is always humming with noise from different factories. We fit right in. Sometimes we have to deal with the heavy rains that hit this part of Gujarat, which can slow things down. But we just keep at it. We don't pretend to be something we’re not. We are just a wood industry unit in a busy estate. People who need timber or crates usually just call us up or stop by the plot. It’s straightforward work. We drink a lot of water and try to keep the machinery in good shape. There’s no corporate ladder here, just people doing a day’s work. Vapi is a tough place to work sometimes, but it’s where we belong. We have seen the estate grow and change over the years. It is a busy life for us.
