Jalaram Enterprises

Jalaram Enterprises is situated in Village Chala, right on the main Vapi-Daman Road. We are very easy to spot because we are right near the Gujarati School. During the day, you can hear the kids during their break times, which is a nice break from the sound of the traffic on the road. The Vapi-Daman Road is always busy with trucks and buses going back and forth, so there is a lot of noise and dust coming from the street. Our building is a simple one, mostly used for storage and handling the different items we trade in. We have a small desk near the front where we keep our ledgers and handle the paperwork. It gets quite hot in the afternoons here, so we usually have the big shutters open to let some air in. People often stop by because they saw our name while driving toward Daman. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just crates, boxes, and us trying to keep everything organized. The village of Chala has grown a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same spot near the school. It’s a practical location for getting things in and out quickly. Most of our work is repetitive, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We know most of the other shop owners along this stretch of the road and sometimes share a tea after we close up for the night.
