Industrial Packers

Industrial Packers is located right next to some of the other sheds at Plot No. 700/12 A&B in the 40 Shed Area of Gidc. It’s a dusty part of the industrial estate, especially when the trucks are reversing in and out. Our space is basically two plots joined together, which gives us enough room to stack everything we need. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s always scraps of wood and plastic lying around from the packing process. We try to keep it organized, but it’s a constant battle. The staff here are all local guys who don’t mind getting their hands dirty. We don’t have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If people want to know what we do, they usually just stop by and see the work for themselves. The midday heat can be pretty intense under the metal roof, so we try to get the heaviest work done in the mornings. We have an old radio that plays in the background, mostly to drown out the sound of the nearby factories. It’s a straightforward operation without any frills. We pack things up, load them onto the transport, and get ready for the next day. It’s just honest, practical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
