Gravicast Engineers

Being located in Phase-3 of Vapi G.I.D.C. means there is always noise and movement around us. We are at Plot No. L-2606/5 and it is a solid place to work every day. Engineering isn't always pretty and most of the time our hands are covered in grease or oil from the machines. At Gravicast Engineers we spend a lot of time just looking at drawings and trying to figure out the best way to cast a part without it warping. The air in Vapi can be thick especially in the monsoon but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. It is a lot of physical labor moving heavy molds and checking the temperature of the metal. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the area but we do want to make sure the stuff we send out is actually usable. Our tea breaks are usually spent sitting on plastic crates near the entrance where there is a bit of a breeze. Sometimes the neighbors from the other units come by to borrow a tool or just to complain about the traffic on the main road. That is just how life is in the industrial estate. You learn to work with what you have and fix things when they break. It’s a practical life and we don't think too much about it beyond getting the day's work finished before the sun goes down.
