We are located at Plot No. 34 in Phase-1 of the GIDC. It’s an older part of the industrial zone but it’s where we feel at home. Our days are filled with looking at instruments and making sure everything is calibrated right. The building itself is pretty basic. It has a big metal door that creaks a bit when you open it in the morning. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. There isn't a lot of standing around. We keep the tools organized on the shelves, though sometimes things get messy when we are in the middle of a big order. The light in the workshop is a bit bright, but it helps us see the small parts we work with. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our work clothes dealing with the day's tasks. The GIDC is a busy place, so there’s always a lot of traffic and people moving goods around outside. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the neighbors’ machinery running, but you get used to the rhythm after a few weeks. We just try to get the instruments out on time and hope the electricity doesn't cut out during the middle of a test. We keep a stash of spare bulbs and batteries in the drawer just in case.
