Shree Krishna Rubber

We are located at Plot No. 752 in the 40 Shed Area of the G. I. D. C., right near where Vico Forge Private Limited is. The shed area is exactly what it sounds like—a bunch of industrial sheds where people are making things. At Shree Krishna Rubber, we deal with a lot of raw rubber and molding equipment. The smell of heated rubber is something you just get used to after a couple of days working here. It is a tough environment, especially in the summer months when the sheds get really hot inside. We have various presses and molds that we use to get the shapes right. Sometimes the rubber doesn't set quite right, or a mold gets stuck, and we have to figure out how to fix it on the fly. It is very hands-on work. We don't have an air-conditioned office to sit in; we are usually right there on the floor with the machines. Most of the folks working here have been with us for a long time. We know the local guys and the other businesses nearby. We don’t try to act like a big corporation because we aren’t one. We are just a local rubber shop trying to do our work properly. It’s about getting the orders out of the door and making sure the machines are kept in decent enough shape to run the next day.
