Shah Traders

You can find us at number 27 in the Hakimji Super Market, right near the Gidc Char Rasta in Vapi. Being at a major crossroads like Char Rasta means there is never a quiet moment. There is always the sound of trucks and scooters passing by outside our door. Shah Traders is a small, busy place where we spend a lot of our time unloading boxes and checking through inventory lists. The market is usually crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their supplies at once. Our shop is packed with goods, so there isn't much room to move around, but we know where everything is kept. We have been in Vapi for years and have seen the industrial area change a lot, but the chaos of the super market stays pretty much the same. We take our tea breaks when the rush dies down and talk to the other shopkeepers nearby. It is a practical way to spend the day, just managing orders and making sure the customers get what they asked for. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just a few of us handling the daily trades and keeping the books updated. The floor is concrete, the shelves are metal, and the work is honest. We start early when the market opens and we don't head out until the shutters are locked and the traffic at the crossroads finally starts to thin out.
