Down in Vapi, specifically at Plot No. 3601 in Phase-4 of the GIDC, that’s where you’ll find our packaging setup. The air always smells a bit like paper and ink around here. We’ve got the machines lined up, and they run pretty much all day long. It gets quite loud, and the floor is usually covered in scraps of material that need to be swept up at the end of the shift. We make all sorts of packaging, and it’s a bit of a jigsaw puzzle trying to fit all the rolls of material into the storage area. The Vapi heat can be something else in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’re not a big corporate office with glass walls. We’re just a bunch of people working in a shed in an industrial zone. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’ve known each other for years. We don’t really do fancy meetings. We just talk about what needs to be packed and get to work. It’s honest, simple work and we’ve been doing it at this spot for quite a while now. We keep an eye on the clock and make sure the deliveries are ready for the morning transport. Sometimes a machine jams, and we all have to pitch in to get it cleared. That's just a normal Tuesday for us at Sai Packaging. We don't complain much.
